The Website is Done and MORE!

The website is complete! This will allow me to focus my efforts on video making and really digging into the process of it. This week was focused on building the video library and waiting on things to be certified with Google. I will be filming a new video this weekend and hopefully have it uploaded by Monday. Website Update: Subscriber Count Added Video Count Added Page Views Removed Videos Page Added All page colors are white instead of gray Footer added Video Gallery:  http://honestvideo.weebly.com/videos.html (the video page does not run well on Mac laptops for some reason.) I also created a never miss a video page:  http://hvextras.weebly.com/ I also went back and created thumbnails for the videos.         Each thumbnail was made from scratch and took about a half hour a piece to make. That included tracing out the images so they could be overlayed by hand. The images were pulled from Google but I had to edit them together which was a hard task,.

I Have Been Working

    This week has mainly focused on building the website. I downloaded several extensions to enhance the websites loading capabilities and add some interactive features. I have made several small changes to the website as listed below. Back to top on all of the pages All page headers have images Terms of use page has temporally been taken down This section of the website is new Countdown clock until the next video A calendar on the Upload Schedule page. Comments section has been added The "1" was removed from the Coming Soon page name The "welcome to the Honest Video Website" on the home page has been removed. A couple of sentences were added on the about page. All the buttons are now black. I Have Done a Little Bit

    I have talked my dad into being my camera man on Saturdays when I making my videos. He will be using my iPad mounted on a tripod to record me. Slightly Frustrated

   I have run into a small complication. The YouTube channel art I made is not in the correct format to upload. I went back and changed it to another file format only to find that it is over the allowed two megabits. I am at a stand still until I get that done.     The good news is I am almost done with my website. It will become active this Saturday (February 18) at  www.honestvideo.weebly.com  .

Created My Youtube Channel!

 I just finished creating my YouTube channel Honest Video . I am about to begin work on the channel art and profile picture.  I am also beginning work on a website to go along with the youtube channel. I am going to use the app and website as a platform for exclusive content away from YouTube to draw attention to them.
