I Have Been Working
This week has mainly focused on building the website. I downloaded several extensions to enhance the websites loading capabilities and add some interactive features. I have made several small changes to the website as listed below.
Visit the website here- http://honestvideo.weebly.com/
Website Video- https://youtu.be/JpigRSAN3nI
I have taken the time to create wallpapers for all the pages on the website and YouTube channel. I am working on wallpapers for the Google Plus Page.
I am also working to get YouTube to recognize that the website is associated with my channel. I can then link my website in the cards and end screen features that YouTube provides so people can click the directly on the video.
I am learning quickly that a lot of work goes into creating a channel before the first video is ever uploaded. Next week's post will have a time-lapse video of the final stages of editing the first video.
P.S. I hate school laptops. They block everything that I need to use.:-(
- Back to top on all of the pages
- All page headers have images
- Terms of use page has temporally been taken down
- This section of the website is new
- Countdown clock until the next video
- A calendar on the Upload Schedule page.
- Comments section has been added
- The "1" was removed from the Coming Soon page name
- The "welcome to the Honest Video Website" on the home page has been removed.
- A couple of sentences were added on the about page.
- All the buttons are now black. (they show up better)
- Social media section added
- The text for "website" on the "honest video website" moves in and out

Things that I am waiting on to be approved by Google
- Website association
- Verification
- Google AdSense on the website
These are not necessities but it would definitely help if they were approved anytime soon.
